Many years ago, I was dancing on tour with the Radio City Rockettes, and I was in a lot of pain, particularly in my knees and back. My manager suggested I tried Pilates, and BOOM – my life changed forever.
Now, I’m a certified Pilates instructor and most of my days are filled teaching Teacher Training and individual clients, most of whom have scoliosis, like me. When I do have a chance to sneak in a quick workout, I love to exercise on the Pilates EXO® Chair by Balanced Body. There are so many different exercises you can do, one of my favorites is the one featured in the video above, the ‘Starfish.’ Trust me, it’s harder than it looks!
