Virtual Lessons

Book the Lesson

  1. Visit the booking site: book with Erin or book with all other teachers.
  2. Find a time and date that works for you and book & pay for your lesson. Please note you are booking in the US central time zone.
  3. Looking to book an add-on service? Please contact your teacher directly.

Email Your History at least 24 Hours Before Your Lesson

  1. Email a brief summary of your history. If you have scoliosis, send any pictures or x-rays of your back. A photo of an x-ray is fine.
  2. Include your name and the date of your lesson in the subject line.

Prepare for Your Lesson

  1. Find a quiet space where you can comfortably lay down that has at least 3-ft of space on either side of you.
  2. Brainstorm questions and goals for the lesson. Have that list and a paper and pen with you during the lesson so you can take notes.
  3. Set up your internet-connected video device. Test the connection before the lesson. Also test the view by turning on the camera. Please make sure you place the device somewhere that allows us to see your body length-wise.
  4. Gather any equipment or props you have. This can be traditional Pilates equipment or anything you can safely work with. Examples include: mats, balls, towels, therabands, yoga blocks, & hand weights.
  5. Watch for an email. It will come directly from your teacher and have a link to Zoom in it. If you don’t see an email, please check your spam/junk folder.
  6. Click on the Zoom link at least 5 minutes prior to your lesson. This allows time for the program to open and you to get situated, thereby making the most of your lesson. The teacher will join at the appointed time.

Download Mind Body Online

Looking to take a Pilates class with Spiral Spine? We recommend downloading the MBO app. This is the preferred way to sign up for all our classes, from groups to privates, in-person to virtual. You can even register for the Scoliosis Retreat. On your phone/tablet, using the app will be a much friendlier experience than the MBO website.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wear something you feel comfortable moving in. You will likely be laying down or kneeling in a variety of positions, so you may feel comfortable in longer or close-fitting shorts or pants. Capris and long workout pants are great. Socks or bare feet are fine.
Absolutely! Our staff specializes in developing programs and exercise modifications for clients dealing with injuries and other physical issues (i.e. scoliosis, lower back issues, and pregnancy). Please book a private appointment first so you can learn appropriate modifications before booking a group class.
All classes are 50 minutes.

For both group classes and private instruction, in person or virtual, please register here to schedule your lesson. You’re welcome to contact the studio if you need assistance registering.

If you must cancel your scheduled lesson, please do so 24 hours in advance to avoid a full-service charge. While we understand that unforeseeable circumstances and illnesses do occur, the 24-hour cancellation policy remains in place.
We don’t take insurance, but many clients have had success using their HSA, FSA, or exercise benefit programs through work. We highly suggest you explore these options if they are available to you.
We are so glad you asked! During your lesson is the perfect time for questions. Each lesson you book is your time with your instructor. Please feel free to let her know when you have questions and you are welcome to spend as much of any lesson as you’d like seeking her advice on anything Pilates or scoliosis related.

We can! We offer a 30 minute customized workout. The recording will be created by your instructor, emailed to you, and will be available for viewing for 2 weeks (once emailed). It will cover homework given by your instructor and the main topics your instructor wants you to work on right now. You can let your instructor know what Pilates equipment or props you’d like for her to incorporate into the video.

*At this time, Erin is only available for full-length private lessons.
