- Be taught research-backed movements to benefit your scoliotic body that you’ll be able to do at home
- Undergo muscle testing by Spiral’s teachers to learn which of your muscles need to work and release and how to continue this work at home
- Experience practicing Pilates movements tailored to your scoli on various pieces of Pilates equipment
- Leave the retreat empowered with a concrete plan on how to care for you scoliosis at home, including how to relieve painful muscle spasms and flare-ups
Regardless of your track, you will be required to read "I Have Scoliosis; Now What?" in its entirety prior to the retreat. Please bring your book and questions with you to the retreat.

Testimonials
Beyond happy to find Erin and Jennifer at Spiral Spine! I am a teacher who attended the workshop looking to learn more about how to help my Scoliosis clients. The workshop is hands UP one of the best I have attended! The amount of knowledge Erin has about Scoliosis and her straight forward, kind, loving teaching style made me feel confident to travel home and help my clients. I will definitely be returning to this studio for continued education and will be working with them through their other services. Just Impressive! And really, really loved their heart-lead energy. If you are thinking about doing the Scoliosis Workshop as a teacher, this is your call to go immediately and book it. I can't believe how helpful it truly was. Thank you Spiral Spine! Thank you, Erin and Jennifer, for doing this workshop and opening up to help other teachers learn more! <3

After my Schroth physical therapist moved out of Chicago, I began looking for new ways to take care of my spine. When I learned about Spiral Spine Pilates, I knew it was the perfect opportunity for me to expand on my years of Pilates and scoliosis rehab. Even more importantly, the workshop was an opportunity for me to talk with other women in the fitness community about scoliosis - something I had never done before. The workshop was truly incredible for many reasons, but the opportunity for this kind of connection made it an invaluable experience.
The workshop taught me new ways to alleviate my own pain, strengthen the pockets of weakness caused by scoliosis, and understand the how and why behind both of these techniques. Erin is truly brilliant but she is also kind. She knows and respects the heartache that comes along with the physical pain of scoliosis. Her understanding of the body, Pilates practice, and quirks of scoliosis are endless. Her teaching methods are thorough but clear. I walked away from the workshop immensely grateful, mentally and physically stronger, and prepared to take on my scoliosis in my own practice. It's been over a year since the workshop, and Spiral Spine Pilates has been there to support me every time I have asked for help.

Just attended the 2 day Scoliosis workshop with Erin and her staff and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. I have been searching for the best way to manage my scoliosis for at least 20 years and I cannot possibly add up the hours and money spent that were wasted before I found Pilates.
PILATES was the first thing that worked for me, and ERIN knows what she is doing. I highly encourage anyone with scoliosis to seriously consider Pilates with Erin. There is hope and this is the best place I have found in over 20 years. Wish I had found it long ago. Also, LISTEN to your body and don't underestimate your instincts. YOU know your body better than anyone else. Love it and take care of it. Wishing you the very best!

I can't give Spiral Spine, Erin, and her team enough stars for this review. The level of knowledge, attention to detail, individual care, and passion directed to you as an individual into an easy to understand way is second to none. I've been down many roads dealing with scoliosis but nothing has helped until I worked with Spiral Spine. I just got back from Spiral's scoliosis retreat this past weekend (I drove from Michigan), and my back and legs haven't felt this good since I can remember. And this is only after two days. Amazing. I highly recommend Erin and her team. If you have scoliosis, or any other back issue, look no further. The retreat told the story where I saw people from all around the country learning from the Spiral Spine team.
